The Payroll Analyst processes Verisign's US Biweekly payrolls and audits payroll data to maintain accurate payroll records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processes and Maintains payroll records for Verisign employees in the ADP Vantage payroll system; updates and validates all changes in pay rates, benefits/ deductions, banking information and tax withholding information
- Ensures that the current payroll information is submitted to Verisign's outsourced payroll vendor accurately and in a timely manner
- Runs and distributes biweekly pay cycle reports to cross-functional business partners
- Responds to employee payroll inquiries
- May assist with reconciling, multi state tax withholdings, wage garnishments and voluntary deductions
Required Skills:
- 5 + years of payroll and related experience
- High School or GED equivalent
- Payroll experiences with ADP/Vantage payroll software
- Good understanding of payroll principles, practices, regulations, and procedures
- Strong communicator with customer service experience and excellent attention to detail
- Accomplished in operating a PC and using Webex and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Preferred skills:
- General knowledge of accounting and understanding of the general ledger accounts
If you live in CO, CA, NY, Washington State the annualized pay range for this role is $58,300 - $78,900.
The anticipated annualized base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. Verisign offers a discretionary bonus which is based on individual and company performance, and certain roles may be eligible for discretionary stock awards.
