Job Description
You’re an expert when it comes to all things payroll. In fact you really love payroll. You enjoy bouncing back and forth between processing ongoing payroll runs and diverse project work such as audits reconciliations testing and making process improvements.
You have worked in various systems including Paylocity ADP Rippling BambooHRUKG and Ceridian but the truth is you can navigate just about any system. If you love payroll processing and leading payroll teams this is a bonus! The following are responsibilities you may have had in prior roles (either in house or as a consultant):
· Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll data including payroll taxes and deductions;
· Provide payroll-related guidance on matters such as compliance benefits and policies;
· Communicate regularly with constituents to answer questions and address problems;
· Perform regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance;
· Utilize knowledge of multiple payroll systems to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions;
· Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll legislation and ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations;
· Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation;
· Work with a team or lead a team to continuously improve payroll processes and procedures

You are a strategic thinker and are proactive problem solver and are able to find ways to cohesively meet deadlines while also supporting key stakeholders and business drivers.
