The Role: The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for working with the existing payroll team to perform all payroll related activities for the North American Shared Service group. A successful Payroll Coordinator will be able to independently handle the day-to-day payroll processing requirements while working with the Payroll Supervisor and Manager to help drive process improvements.

You Will:

• Process full cycle end-to-end payrolls
• Exercise independent judgment in resolving employee inquiries,
• Critical review of employee master-file changes in consideration of both Company Policy and Federal, State and Local statutory requirements,
• Lead efforts to enhance efficiency in operations and technology to support a touchless payroll cycle,
• Perform non-regular earnings payments,
• Perform critical review of periodic earnings, deduction audits and garnishment oversight in support of Company obligations and efforts to maintain a World Class payroll environment,
• Have primary responsibility in overseeing the process of ensuring that the Company complies with all Federal, State and Local employment tax filings with a key focus on audit support and inquiry resolution
• Assist the team in identifying areas where enhancements can be made to streamline existing workflows
• Support the team with distributions of requires materials, e.g., reports, mailings, etc., while looking for ways to automate and replace manual tasks with refined process or technology improvements.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience processing payroll for large U.S. or Canadian employers
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) accreditation preferred
• A self-starter attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic
• Experience working with Vantage, Kronos, eTIME
• The ability to prioritize workload and ensure timely issue resolution
• Ability to provide world-class customer service,
• Strong written and verbal communications skills,
• Ability to deliver top work in a fast growth environment.
• Desire to learn new process and platforms
• Proficient in Excel
• Ability to work as a part of a larger group
