Position Overview:

The Payroll Coordinator ensures timely, accurate, and expedient payroll processing.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:

  • Process accurate Payroll; submit weekly Payroll to Finance Department.
  • Work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Problem solve situations that require additional care.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of client records according to policy and procedures.
  • Knowledge of computer data entry systems, protocols, and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively, both oral and written, with internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Perform other related duties and projects, as assigned.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Access).
  • Previous 10-key data entry experience; test will be given at time of interview.
  • Superb customer service and phone etiquette skills.
  • Must be extremely organized and possess strong analytical and overall personnel management skills, as they will work closely with department managers.
  • Requires strong quantitative, statistical, and analytical skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills.
