Payroll Coordinator

• Support the processing of biweekly multi-state U.S. payroll for approximately 4000 employees using Workday.
• Assist with semi-monthly Canadian payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review and audit payroll data including hours bonuses commissions deductions and taxes.
• Help reconcile payroll discrepancies and escalate issues as needed for resolution.
• Administer payroll components such as taxation garnishments and deductions.
• Assist with off-cycle payroll processing including terminations corrections and bonus payments.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries through a ticketing system providing timely and accurate support.
• Partner with the People Team Benefits and Finance to help maintain accurate data across systems.
• Support year-end activities including W-2 preparation and payroll tax reconciliation.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Accounting Business or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting payroll processing in a high-volume environment.
• Experience working with payroll systems with exposure to Workday Payroll preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of payroll taxation and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting Canadian payroll is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately review and process data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including functions such as PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
• The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
