Job Summary: The Payroll Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the payroll processing system, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for employees in compliance with Dutch regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a deep understanding of Dutch payroll laws, exceptional organizational skills, and proficiency with AFAS payroll software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees using AFAS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.

• Oversee the preparation and submission of payroll taxes and other statutory filings.

• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, bonuses, and other adjustments.

• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and resolve any discrepancies.

• Prepare and distribute payroll reports and financial statements as needed.

• Supervise and provide guidance to payroll staff.

• Stay current with changes in payroll regulations and best practices.

• Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.

• Implement and maintain payroll software systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure the integrity of payroll data and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll, within the Netherlands.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Dutch payroll laws and regulations.

• Proficiency with AFAS payroll software and WorkDay.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with additional payroll or HR software.

• Professional certification in payroll management (e.g., NIRPA).

• Experience in a multinational company.
