You will play a key role in managing compensation, benefit, and payroll programs that help to maintain the engagement of our current workforces, as well as enable us to attract talent. You will partner with key leaders to design benefit programs ensuring a competitive total rewards program. Day to day you will maintain an accurate payroll system, distributing data reports, and minimize organizational risk by ensuring adherence to rules, laws, regulations, etc. as required. You Have:
- 5 years of experience driving benefits and payroll administration preferably through using ADP WorkForce Now
- Significant experience and proficiency with HR/Benefit/Payroll systems; ADP Work Force Now is strongly preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite; Strong Excel skills required
- The desire to be current on relevant employment & payroll laws, rulings, and regulations
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Preferably, a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Human Resources or related field
- Preferably, a PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification.
- FMLA Administration Experience preferred
The Day to Day:
Payroll
- Responsible for all Payroll administration to include bi-weekly payroll, garnishments, carrier payments/contributions for GreenPath and all affiliate organizations
- Manage registration process for new states; including income tax, unemployment, disability for GreenPath and all affiliate organizations
- Maintain payroll and tax accounts within ADP for GreenPath and all affiliate organizations
- Liaise with Finance regarding all payroll and tax related inquiries
- Responsible for yearend processes and procedures for GreenPath and all affiliate organizations
Benefits
- Manage new hire, life event, and open enrollment events, including answering employee questions, approving events in ADP, and managing all carrier connections
- Manage the relationship with our broker and carriers
Manage 401a and 403b retirement programs - FMLA administration, including tracking and ensuring accuracy between Lincoln and ADP
- ACA Administration
- Assist with plan design, renewals, and cost analysis
- Lead annual open enrollment program and activities
- Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees
- Responsible for year-end processes and procedures
HRIS/File Administration
- Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database
- Responsible for Departmental Reporting and Audit Information Requests
- Responsible for maintenance and audit of all personnel records via Onbase
Compliance
- Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and payroll
- Assists Talent Development and Leadership with various training opportunities and initiatives such as certification training, Invest in yourself courses, Leadership Academy etc.
- Actively involved with an extra-curricular committee or group via Philanthropy, Diversity or Wellness
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
- Other ad hoc duties as requested by management
