Here's what you'll do day-to-day:
- Print, seal and package all client payroll print jobs within quality parameters and deadlines.
- Assembles parcels for shipping by inserting items into shipping envelopes, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels - must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
- Manage delivery of local and UPS delivery packages.
- Acts as a receptionist by supporting all incoming calls to the corporate office and triaging to the requested agent or supporting department and covering our front office receptionist desk.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure a low error rate when sending packages out.
- Research and resolve client delivery inquiries.
- Make necessary system updates regarding wrapping instructions, 'attention to' contacts and delivery instructions as specific to individual client accounts.
- Maintain printing equipment and supplies.
- Performs additional duties, as required, including special projects.
- Takes preemptive action to prevent errors and waste.
Here's what we're looking for:
- Work relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Must be highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and able to effectively utilize available office management technology.
- Exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities along with attention-to-detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships at all levels internally and externally.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, coupled with flexibility and a strong sense of urgency regarding deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A positive and upbeat attitude.
- Must have the ability to take initiative and manage multiple detailed tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented service environment.
- Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential issues.
