In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

Has process knowledge and experience across the business processes supported for their clients; understands a client's strategy priorities and operations in the context of daily operational activities. This role is required to conduct daily process transactions develop and implement process and operational improvements to meet client and IBM requirements. These professionals require skills in business operations process management and compliance and an understanding of the process best practices and tools to execute their client's core business processes.  Leads technical support and subject matter expert. Skills:

Experience and working knowledge in key functional processes. Awareness of business activities.


Communication/Negotiation:

Exchanges information ideas and concepts. Requires negotiation to achieve coordination.


Problem Solving:

Use advanced technical knowledge to perform and apply new technical procedures to the business processes. May recommend improvements to existing technical procedures based on understanding of new technologies.


Contribution/Leadership:

Working individually or as a team member may set work priorities within well established procedures and objectives. May provide coordination of activities. Gives technical direction. Viewed as a technical expert.


Impact on Business/Scope:

Accountable for individual results and for the impact of the results on the team interrelated activities or project.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
  1. Roles and Responsibilities
    1. Native or near native Japanese skill JLPT-2 or above level.
    2. Bachelor’s/College Degree or above preferably Human Resources related major.
    3. Intermediate in MS Excel/Word.
    4. Basic computer and internet navigation skills.
    5. Logical organized detailed with good analytical skill
  2. Other Requirements
    1. Work Shift: Day shift (8am-5pm Philippine time).
    2. Work Schedule: Follow Japan Client Calendar.
    3. Work Location: EastWood or UP Ayala Technohub.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Experience in SAP or Oracle ERP systems
  • Knowledge of Japan Payroll processes
  • Strong Payroll operations experience
  • Background in the BPO industry
