We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Global Payroll team. We’re a team of 11 people located in NOAM, EMEA and APAC. You will report to the Manager Payroll USA and you will be responsible for preparing bi-weekly payroll payments for 350+ employees.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Run high volume perfect and timely on- and off-cycle payrolls (350+)
  • Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ hourly rates, new hires, terminations, leaves, FMLSAs, changes to salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, etc.
  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy of the calculation of wages, tax, withholding, and deductions associated with payroll
  • Administrate Group insurance and 401(k) Pension plans. Reconcile employee insurance benefits on a regular basis
  • Conduct Year End. Reconcile Quarterly / Year End reports. Issue W2s.
  • Perform reconciliation of States, Local, Federal Taxes on a regular basis
  • Act as a primary payroll contact, working cross-functionally with other departments and business units to discuss potential issues, impacts, and solutions as they relate to payroll processing, accounting and/or tax.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve problems on a timely basis.
  • Research and troubleshoot any/all payroll related inquiries.
  • Perform research on tax regulations on an ongoing basis and implement all tax law changes in accordance with governing laws and regulation.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Tax and Legal, as required, for all GL and financial accounting reporting matters
  • Assist in audit operations 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What you’ll bring to the team:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Experience in preparing the payrolls in a multi-states’ environment
  • Knowledge of US labor standards and rules related to payroll regulations and compliance 
  • Solid understanding of the entire payroll process including group insurance benefits (Health, Dental, FSA, HAS, etc.)  and 401(k) plan
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel is a must , Google Docs.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity to ensure confidence and protection of the payroll operations and information
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, with minimal supervision

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Experience in working with Workday Payroll is an asset
