HR Generalist/Payroll Specialist

Reports to: HR Director

Full-Time

As a HR Generalist/Payroll Specialist, you will play an essential role in the weekly payroll functions of the organization. This position is critical to the success of our Heubel Shaw team. If you are detail oriented, thrive on consistency and enjoy supporting others, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for collecting and reviewing employee information, processing employee payments in compliance with company policies, and maintaining accurate payroll records
• Process weekly payroll within company deadlines
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve concerns
• Enter New Hires/Rehires/Terminations into payroll
• PTO management
• Manage the bonus payout process
• Prepare periodic payroll reports for accounting on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
• Assist with internal and external audits as needed
• Perform reviews of data entered compared to data received to ensure accuracy and completeness of personnel and payroll records
• Perform Employment Verifications
• Management of company credit cards
• Managing access to our expense website
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a payroll position
• Minimum 2 years' experience working in a payroll department preferred ADP Workforce
• Fast and accurate data entry
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis in MS Excel
• Detail-oriented, exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills
