Payroll Specialist
Job Description
- CASETiFY is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources Department. Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Manager, you will manage our Hong Kong entities' end-to-end monthly payroll operations and ensure all payroll activities follow relevant employment legislation and the company’s payment schedule. As the ideal candidate, you have extensive experience in payroll management, a strong understanding of Hong Kong’s Labor Ordinance, and hands-on experience preparing monthly reports for senior management to review.
Job Description
- Own and execute the full spectrum of payroll processes, including but not limited to payroll calculations, MPF, medical benefits, and taxation administrations
- Partner with the HRBP to handle matters related to employee cases involving long-term absence and employee compensation
- Provide advisory services on payroll-related issues to internal teamsÂ
- Partner with the HRBP and support regular HR exercises, e.g., quarterly anniversary salary review, year-end leave closing, etc.
- Maintain timely and accurate data in HRIS, including but not limited to employee profiles, leave and attendance data
- Continuously enhance the utilization of HRIS from the HR operations perspective and work with the HRIS vendor when necessary
- Maintain a well-organized and timely filing process for payroll records and other related documentation
- Prepare regular/ad-hoc reports and analyses for management review
- Participate in driving on-going C&B-related projects
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources Management, Accounting, Business Management, or related disciplines
- 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in retail, F&B, or labor-driven industry
- Well-versed in Hong Kong’s Employment Ordinance, MPF regulations, and other HR-related ordinances
- Experience working in an in-house HR team is a plus
- Experience supporting HRIS transformation in a plus
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese
- Strong interpersonal skills - you’re comfortable navigating a global organization with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
