POSITION DESCRIPTION:

ThePayroll Specialist serves as the subject matter expert and actioner of allend-to-end payroll related processes for our businesses. This role is responsible for ensuring timelyand accurate payrolls includingpayroll processing, maintaining employee deductions, and managing garnishmentorders.

ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• All daily activities relating to the payroll process, including processing, and auditing payrolls, preparing off-cycle payments, and responding to pay inquiries.
• Utilize reports to assess and analyze business needs.
• Perform weekly cash reconciliations.
• Partners with Accounting to complete payroll GL postings.
• Manage garnishment administration including deduction setup, responding to orders and review of vendor remittances and returns.
• Ensure tax compliance in all jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State wage and hour laws.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Assist employees and management with questions or requests regarding payroll.
• Perform other job-related duties, as assigned.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 3 years multi-state payroll experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
• Detail oriented.
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
