Senior Payroll Analyst
Department: Corp Finance
Reports To: Payroll Manager
Pay Type: Full-Time
Location: Denver, CO
POSITION SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for assisting with the review, audit, and processing of payroll for 3000+ multi-state employees utilizing ADP/Workday system. This position reports to the Payroll Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Execute payroll on a biweekly basis
- Prepare time and attendance for processing, adjustments, and
- Interpret and set up garnishment orders, child support deductions, etc.
- Review all payroll reporting and ensure accurate and timely filing
- Ensure accurate processing of new hires, status changes, and tax updates
- Complete pre/post payroll audits and reporting, prepare metrics and track errors
- Review pay adjustments, refunds, overrides, additional deductions, and garnishments
- Troubleshoot technical issues with payroll and time keeping systems
- Maintain the payroll inbox and back up for manual check processing
- Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education
- Bachelor's Degree
- Payroll Certification (FPC or CPP)
Experience
- ADP and Workday payroll experience
- At least 5 years of experience working in Payroll
- Hands-on experience with a payroll processing/HRIS system
- Knowledge of the general practices and procedures of payroll administration
- Familiar with processing stocks, bonuses, or commission payments
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Comfortable auditing payroll, creating, and running reports

- Ability to maintain the confidential nature of personnel related information
- Excellent communication skills including oral, written, presentation
- Able to work independently and as a part of a team
