This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with our client. 

Position Summary:

Payroll Specialist is administrative professionals responsible for maintaining payroll systems and processing paychecks according to schedule and in the correct amount. Their duties include consolidating timesheet information and entering data into payroll databases, calculating paycheck amounts and distributing funds to employee accounts.

Responsibilities:

1. Checking attendance for each pay cycle with accuracy
2. Entering data to payroll request form and submit to the payroll outsourcing party
3. Handling direct deposit requests and checking new hire`s documents such as W4, SSN and Bank details
4. Review paper checks for distribution and generating payroll reports for HQ approval
5. Proceeding payment for HSA, Child support or other court orders in any
6. Reviewing payroll tax filing completed by payroll outsourcing party such as 940/941
7. Generating W2 for employees every year
8. Managing company 401K account and proceeding monthly invoices
9. Making payroll analysis report such as overtime trend, payroll cost or other reports required by management
10. Managing staffing agency`s bills
11. Other ad hoc projects

Qualifications

1. Associate degree in Human Resources or Business
2. At least 3- 5 years experience in payroll processing - Quickbooks
3. Good at Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and advanced in Excel
4. Personality with passion, patience, detail oriented and problem solving mindset
