Job Overview:
HCM Tax and Processing Team members handle the back-end processing of payrolls on the iSolved platform. Done in a daily batch, the Tax and Processing team is accountable for all direct deposit transmittals, tax payments, and tax form filing. To perform these tasks, the team is responsible for expertise in the various federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.
Responsibilities:

• Review new client setups to confirm all payroll tax information is accurate.
• Conduct interim review of payroll taxes for clients.
• Schedule payroll tax payments
• Track and enter payroll adjustments.
• File Payroll Tax Forms
• Prepare Tax ID applications for federal, state, and local tax agencies.
• Research and respond to tax notices.
• Research and respond to client payroll tax questions.
• Conduct all customer contact with a high degree of professionalism and technical proficiency supporting the Wipfli culture.
• Maintain accurate customer files and communication logs. Document all communications.
• Other projects and related work as directed.

Skillset

• A strong product, service and technical background with experience in supporting HCM solutions including Payroll, or web-based applications is preferred.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Proven communication skills with professional telephone presence, clear and concise verbal and written skills, and ability to clearly identify a customer's concern and effectively solve problems
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Issue analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Recommended

• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
