JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
  • Diagnose failed PC Boards from in-process and assembly lines down to the component level.
  • Repair and retest assembly line and in-process PC Boards with electrical component-caused failures and determine if boards can be restocked.
  • Notify QA personnel of defective components, processing errors or testing problems discovered by analysis.
  • Follow all applicable ESD procedures.
  • Work with QA, R&D, Plant Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve any non-conformance problems associated with PC Boards.
  • Enter PC Board failure information and accountability into MES.
  • Monitor the repair and rework of PC Boards.
  • Perform duties as otherwise assigned by the Operations Manager.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Associate degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent experience with demonstrated background in both analog and digital circuits.
  • Have excellent people, organizational and communications skills.
  • Must have an uncompromising attitude towards quality.
  • Excellent attendance, safety and work record.
  • Knowledge of component testing.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Working knowledge of production and manufacturing floor control systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Excel spreadsheets, and Word application.
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Must be knowledgeable of quality procedures used in the manufacturing department and how they relate to the needs of the customer.
  • May require shift rotation.
