EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Broad knowledge of such fields as advanced Accounting, Marketing, Business Administration, finance etc. and a minimum of five years of related experience in the investment banking industry required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook E-mail and the Internet. Ability to learn and use other industry specific software as required.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Requires the ability to work where there are frequent time constraints and can be stressful at times. Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

- Analyze equity market trends, research individual sectors and stocks to find timely ideas for Financial Consultants.
- Provide quarterly analysis of every Financial Consultant's equities to determine which are out of favor, overpriced and provide replacement options.
- Understand the relationships between equities and fixed income strategies in various economic cycles in order help Financial Consultants with their clients.
- Serve as liaison between Stephens and 3rd party research providers and be knowledgeable of their offerings in order to present timely ideas to our Financial Consultants.
- Review individual fixed income offerings, prepare bonds ladders and bond swap ideas for Financial Consultant that meet their clients' needs.
- Research and recommend covered call ideas.
- Coordinate and attend all management meeting, teach in's and new company launches.
- Market and provide information on all equity and fixed income IPOs and secondary offerings.
- Partner with the Product & Services Manager to develop marketable products and effective marketing support materials based upon insights gathered from branch office visits.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
