Pediatric Emergency Medicine
The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital is seeking Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians to join its Pediatric Emergency Department.
Saint Peter's is bringing the Pediatric Emergency Medicine service line fully in-house and actively expanding the department. We are recruiting multiple physicians to build a larger, high-quality, hospital-employed Pediatric Emergency Medicine group.

State-designated acute care children's hospital offering comprehensive pediatric specialty services for patients from birth through age 18. Centrally located with easy access to New York City and Philadelphia.
Pediatric Emergency Department Opportunity Highlights
Over 25,000 annual pediatric ED visits - (patients under 18)
Dedicated pediatric emergency services
Collaborative, multidisciplinary care environment
Schedule: 9-10 hr shifts, 120 hrs/month
Full time and per diem opportunities available
Physician Requirements
Board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
PEM Fellows graduating in 2026 encouraged to apply
MD/DO licensure in the State of New Jersey
Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Current CDS and DEA required

Full-time compensation at Saint Peter's Healthcare System ranges from 288,000.00 - 350,000.00 USD, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, years of experience, academic and administrative appointment, and pre-established metrics on productivity/patient engagement/quality. The compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
