About This Role:
We are seeking experienced and compassionate pediatricians to join our growing telemedicine practice. Hazel Health delivers medical care to children who have limited access to the traditional healthcare system. We are investing in clinical health care providers and technology to help expand our reach and deliver care to patients at a place where they are most likely to engage and benefit, at school and home. You will join a diverse group of caring clinicians who are changing medicine, one patient at a time.Â
What You’ll Do:
- Provide on-demand urgent care to patients attending K-12 schools in multiple states via telemedicine platform. Â
- Collaborate with our care team, including PA’s and NP’s and Clinical Support Specialists.
- Serve as a pediatric care expert
- Provide supervision for APPsÂ
- Apply for and maintain appropriate licensing in states where Hazel evaluates patients.
- Other duties as assigned
Your Background:

- Required: Board Certified Pediatrician with a current and valid license to practice in California, along with licenses in either Florida or Texas (preferably both).(additional licenses in MO, MD, GA, WA, NV desirable)
- Experience in primary and acute care settings
- Multi-language ability preferred (Spanish, Haitian Creole and Vietnamese)
- Telemedicine experience preferred
- Strong communication skills across diverse populations and ability to connect well with children on a telehealth platform.Â
- Experience collaborating with advanced-practice providers and providing required supervision.
- Technological skills with the ability to learn new software and programs, complete digital paperwork and use multiple web and iOS based systems simultaneously.Â
- Possess the following skills: organizational and time management, critical thinking, multi-tasking and team work.Â
