Pega Engineer

The Pega Engineer will provide Pega engineering and development support for the CRM component of the eCorr system. This will include O&M work for continuing production use of the existing system as well as DME work for an overhaul of the system to suit new customers as eCorr becomes an enterprise system.

Fully remote role but requires an in-person badge pick up in Suitland MD. Travel stipend available.

Primary Responsibilities:• The candidate should have extensive experience developing BPM applications using Pega.• Understand common & best practices in development and DevOps operations.• Good understanding of securing Web Applications.• Professional and Flexible mentality, and able to work in fast-paced and exciting work environment.• The candidate should be able to understand customer requirements, suggest solutions, and develop using Agile methodology. This may involve requirements capture, user story creation, basic mockup/scaffolding, and development of an MVPs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:• 4+ years of Experience in designing and developing Business Process Management (BPM) applications using Pega PRPC frameworks• 4+ years of experience in Pega Implementation cycles, development, testing, and deployment

Skills:• BPM Products: Pega Rules Process Commander• PRPC Skill Set: File Listener, SOAP Services, MQ Listener, SQL and SOAP Connectors, Class Design, Security and Interface• Methodologies: Agile, RUP• Bug Tracking/Version Control: Jira, GiT• Programming Languages: Java, J2EE, Web services• Web Technologies: HTML5, XML, JS, Ajax, J2EE• Databases: PL/SQL and having expertise in Oracle• Web Servers: Web Logic deployment

Education & Certifications:• Bachelor's in computer science or relevant experience.• PEGA Certified Systems Architect or Pega PRPC Certified Methodology Black Belt

Desired Skills & Qualifications:• Good knowledge and experience of development DevOPS activities/tools (Jenkins,GIT, Redmine).• Experience with Agile software development process (working with a scrum team).• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and technical documentation.• Ability to provide guidance and direction to lower-level technicians, specialists, and managers.
