Job Summary:

As a Pega Developer at Capgemini, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Pega-based applications that meet our clients' business needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, solution architects, and testers, to deliver high-quality solutions using the Pega Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Pega applications using Pega Platform and related technologies.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Configure Pega's visual tools, such as Process Modeler, Case Designer, and Data Modeler, to build robust and scalable applications.
• Customize Pega applications by extending out-of-the-box functionality through the development of custom rules, activities, integrations, and user interfaces.
• Integrate Pega applications with external systems, databases, web services, and APIs.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of Pega applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and release notes.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Pega applications, including bug fixes, performance optimization, and system upgrades.
• Stay updated with the latest Pega platform features, trends, and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate project updates, and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Pega Developer.
• Strong knowledge and experience in designing and developing Pega applications using Pega Platform.
• Proficiency in Pega's visual tools, such as Process Modeler, Case Designer, and Data Modeler.
• Experience in customization and extension of Pega applications using rules, workflows, user interfaces, and decisioning components.
• Solid understanding of Pega integration capabilities, including connectors, data mappings, and external system integration.
• Familiarity with Pega deployment processes and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Pega certifications, such as Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) or Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA), are a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is desirable.
