People Acquisition Recruiter

The Aerospace Corporation is looking to hire a People Acquisition Recruiter to lead recruiting efforts for our Electronic and Sensors Division (ESD). In this role, you will recruit talented professionals with backgrounds supporting world class engineering and scientific leaders in space-related electronics and remote sensing systems to support national-security, civil, and commercial customers. These amazing candidates will possess expertise knowledge in satellites, airborne, and terrestrial remote sensing systems, electronics design and evaluation, and power systems.
Our ideal People Acquisition Recruiter is an enthusiastic, innovative, high-energy, self-motivated recruitment professional, with experience in managing talent acquisition strategies. This individual demonstrates experience in qualifying and interviewing, plus performs candidate relationship management, as well as manager relationship management.
Work Model
This position is hybrid and tied to one of the major campuses in El Segundo, CA, Chantilly, VA, Colorado Springs, CO, or Crystal City DC.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct intake sessions with Hiring Managers, review resumes for minimum qualifications, conduct phone screens.
- Effectively negotiate and extend offers.
- Actively source passive candidates using tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Clearance Jobs.
- Closely strategize with hiring managers, Compensation, and HR Business Partners to provide insight on market data of candidates.
- Develop internal and external networks to support passive sourcing efforts.
- Track and maintain reporting of applicant and position metrics.
- Implement creative recruitment tactics that attract experienced staff.
- Work within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) guidelines; define manage applicant and candidate activity.
- Employ interviewing techniques to assess the fit between a candidate's previous experience and the needs of the open position.
- Work closely with internal business customers to manage recruiting strategy.
- Remain within compliance standard.
- Train hiring managers on the recruitment process and the steps that they are responsible with completing.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition management to further define the recruitment process and develop ongoing talent acquisition strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements for Level II:
- Position requires a 4-year degree and a minimum of 4+ years of recruitment experience, or High School equivalent with 6+ years of relevant recruitment experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Experience recruiting technical, engineering and cleared professionals.
- Experience sourcing passive candidates.
- Experience working with and influencing upper-level management.
- Experience in talent acquisition process management, strategy creation, problem-solving and negotiation.
- Direct experience with Workday or other ATS systems.
- Experience leveraging sourcing data in weekly conversations with hiring managers and People Acquisition leadership.
Additional Minimum Requirements for Level III:
- Position requires a 4-year degree and a minimum of 6+ years of recruitment experience, or High School equivalent with 8+ years of relevant recruitment experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

We offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.

$75,937 - $97,969 - $120,000
Pay Basis: Annual
