Job Description
Navan is the all-in-one travel, corporate card, and expense management solution, and we’re looking for a People Analyst to join our People Analytics Team. You’ll own projects impacting the full lifecycle of employees, from recruiting to retention, while working directly with department leaders across the company. You’ll use data to understand where we currently are, define goals for where we want to be, and create strategies for measuring success. You’re right for this role if you love data, and not just for data’s sake, but to leverage insights to make Navan a great place to work.
What you’ll do:
- Analyze data across a variety of areas such as recruiting, headcount, diversity, retention, and more
- Proactively research trends, highlight strengths, and uncover opportunities to drive our people strategy forward
- Provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders such as HR business partners, executive leadership, Talent Acquisition, Diversity and Inclusion, HRIM, and more
- Leverage our existing ThoughtSpot dashboards, and develop more, to allow users to access and understand the information they need right at their fingertips
- Be a champion for data accuracy and quality
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities
- Use tools and systems such as ThoughtSpot, Workday, Greenhouse, Snowflake, spreadsheets, and more
What we're looking for:
- At least 2 years of people analyst experience in a corporate setting
- Experience using HR data to uncover insights, communicating those insights to a variety of stakeholders, and driving action
- Strong proficiency in data analysis using spreadsheets
- Some experience with data querying programs such as SQL
- Some experience building dashboards in data visualization tools such as ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Experience with survey design, implementation, and analysis
- Experience with statistical models such as regression or correlations
- Advanced degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or similar field
- Project management certification or experience
- Broad knowledge of HR functionality or deep dive knowledge in one or more HR areas
- A detail-oriented team player who is comfortable handling confidential information in a professional manner
- Adaptable and willing to pivot based on evolving business needs
- Want to grow your technical skills, and reciprocally share your expertise, to create a data-driven culture on the People Team
- Can collaborate across multiple functions and communicate information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Have a passion for helping people be better at their work and making work a better place for people
The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
