Job Description

C.H. Robinson's internship program provides you with the opportunity to make an impact at a Fortune 200, global company. As a People Analytics Intern, you will help analyze and answer questions about the employees of CH Robinson, providing HR team members and business leaders with support on critical data and reporting requests. If you have a passion for data and insights and want to learn how to tell a story based on people analytics, this may be a great fit. This paid internship will begin with an onboarding program where you'll learn more about C.H. Robinson, our technology, processes, and culture. Interns are integrated into our teams, giving you the opportunity to learn and grow right alongside potential future teammates.

Responsibilities:
  • Field incoming stakeholder requests surrounding employee data and reporting
  • Create reports and interpret data trends and performance metrics to provide recommendations to leadership
  • Assist in defining and testing user stories as we build out our HR Data Warehouse
  • Work with our Technology Teams to validate data
  • Acquire the ability to tell a story based on data and insights
  • Learn how to utilize technology and tools, including Workday, SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI
  • Participate in People Analytics projects as needed


Required Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, team environment, while also delivering independent results
  • Relationship building skills
  • Driven, enthusiastic, and highly motivated
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Undergraduate education at a Junior level (pursuing a Data Analytics, Data Management, Business Intelligence, Human Resources or related major is a plus)
  • Interest in analytical and data-driven work
  • Ability to thrive working in a mostly remote team environment
