The Role
As the People Analytics Lead, your role will be key in ensuring ongoing improvement of People practices based on analysis and data. You will build the foundations of People Analytics at Jellysmack and develop solutions to ensure that the right data and insights drive our People-related decisions. This role will also include creating relevant reports and dashboards, as well as working on continuous improvement and enhancement of existing processes together with different People functions.
You are able to drive a culture of data and process excellence across the global People organization by updating and inculcating the usage of the right tools, sharing suitable approaches, and communicating relentlessly. You are entrepreneurial, proactive, and highly organized and understand how to project manage, engage, align and communicate effectively with a diverse range of regional and global stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Be an expert on People data and how it affects and is affected by People processes/practices
- Define key success metrics, implement data management processes, design and create dashboards and self-service reporting tools for different audiences
- Promote data governance and stewardship through sharing best practices and implementing ways to ensure data quality of key people data sets
- Track, structure, correlate and analyze critical People data coming from multiple sources (HRIS (Workday), ATS (Lever), LMS (Adobe Captivate), engagement & satisfaction surveys, social media, etc), interpret this data to identify differences, relationships, and trends, and translate it into insights to allow informed decision-making around people topics
- In further stages, leverage the latest technology to create robust forecasting and deep dive analysis, scale the people data store, and solve employee experience problems using predictive modeling, machine learning, forecasting, or statistical modeling
What we're looking for:
- You are highly analytical: a background in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Math, Operations Research, or other quantitative fields is preferred
- 6-10 years of experience in a People Analytics role, in-house or in a consulting company
- Experience in analyzing complex, high volume, high dimensionality data from various sources to identify patterns and relationships
- Excellent consultative skills, understanding business needs, and translating those needs to technical requirements
- Experience with AI/Data science ethics including fairness metrics, bias mitigation, model transparency & explain-ability
- Experience in Statistical Analysis & Modeling, Design of Experiment, Causal Inference & Program Evaluation, Uplift Modeling, Behavioral Science
