As the owner of your outcomes, you are empowered to break down silos and coordinate with any and all people you need in order to reach your goals. You are ultimately responsible for achieving the outcomes while also using resources wisely - whether that be money, people, or time.

Know your customer - it might be our viewers, investors, creators, or internal Angel Teams. Ensure you understand your customer and are providing what THEY need and not just what you want to build. 
You OWN the success of your team members, including hiring, onboarding, goals, performance management, raises, terminations, etc.

Hold team members accountable to their goals - help them grow and make the most of the resources they bring. Document their performance for reviews. Create opportunities for team members to take initiative and ownership.

Give consistent and timely candid feedback with compassion - your team members need to know where they stand at all times. If you find yourself doubting a team member, address it swiftly with actionable feedback.

Contributes in a way that moves the Angel mission forward and exemplifies the team qualities required for working at Angel.

When faced with roadblocks, mistakes or unforeseen circumstances, consistently and proactively find creative solutions and/or break down barriers to handle the challenge or complication. (Focus is on creating/building/testing/learning/resolution rather than getting stuck and identifying or placing blame).


Role Overview:

As a People and Culture Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and executing a holistic HR strategy that begins from the ground up, impacting the very core of our organization. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our culture, engaging our workforce, and promoting an environment where every individual can excel.

Key Responsibilities:

Cultural Champion: Lead the charge in cultivating a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging organizational culture. You'll inspire and empower team members to embrace and embody our core values.

Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to attract and hire top talent. You'll ensure that our hiring processes are inclusive, efficient, and effective.

Onboarding and Training: Develop comprehensive onboarding programs that help new hires assimilate into our culture seamlessly. Implement ongoing training and development initiatives to foster continuous learning and growth.

Performance Management: Design and implement performance appraisal processes that empower team members to set and achieve meaningful goals. You'll also provide coaching and guidance for managers to support their teams' development.

Team member engagement: Create and execute engagement strategies, including events, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, to ensure a motivated and satisfied workforce.

Diverse perspectives and engagement: Champion various initiatives to ensure a outlooks from varied perspectives, backgrounds and outlooks are involved and thrive. Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator and advisor in resolving team member challenges while promoting a harmonious work environment.

Compliance and Policy Development: Stay current with labor laws and ensure the company's HR policies and practices are compliant, updated, and aligned but in a way that is also in harmony with the book No Rules Rules.

Data-Driven Insights: Utilize HR analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and implement data-driven solutions for continuous improvement.

Mentoring and Development: Invest in the growth and development of the HR team, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience in HR with a focus on culture and talent development.

Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. A visionary leader with a passion for people and culture.

Data-driven mindset, capable of extracting insights from HR metrics.
