Job Description

At Tillit, we’re passionate about building software that helps B2B Merchants sell more, faster, and more efficiently. We partner with small and large businesses to transform how they receive payments from their customers. Our software is used to make the checkout process frictionless - implementing for the first time true one-click purchasing for businesses selling to other businesses.

Tillit's software helps to increase sales conversion, gets Merchants paid quickly, reliably, and with no credit risk, and frees up cash so they can concentrate on what they do best-providing their customers with world-class goods and services.

Location:

We are presently building our main talent hubs in Oslo and London with a plan to expand to key European locations over the next 12 months. If you aren't based in either London or Oslo but are keen to explore the role further, we'd love to hear from you β€” Tillit is a remote-friendly company, with a flexible working policy accommodating onsite and remote teams, with the expectation that travel to our hubs will be required when needed.

Β

About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to get first-hand experience in one of the most exciting and fast-growing start-ups of the global Fintech industry with the mission to revolutionise B2B payments.

You are our People and talent manager. You'll lead the initiatives critical to supporting high performing globally distributed teams in a fast-paced environment and maintaining an open, diverse and inclusive workplace

You'll report to the co-founder and Chief of Staff and be a combination of strategic and tactical efforts. You'll enjoy rolling up your sleeves and owning the day-to-day aspects of HR while also engaging in high-level strategy conversations with the leadership and executive teams.

You'll develop strong working partnerships with every member of the leadership team and managers and provide support to all employees across the organisation.

Β

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Developing programs and implementing practices to strengthening our culture and living our values.
  • Utilising data & metrics to understand the employee experience and guide people program development and implementation.
  • Leading our workforce planning strategy including talent acquisition and growth plans with significant focus on attracting, retaining and developing top talent as we grow.
  • Owning and driving in our Talent Acquisition practice, ensuring the hiring process and each new hire embodies our culture.
  • Managing and iterating a scalable onboarding process that welcomes our diverse new hires.
  • Developing L&D programs based on the needs of our team as it scales.
  • Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance requirements are met and reflected in company policies and programs.
  • Championing our culture.

You'll need to:

  • Enjoy juggling multiple balls at once.
  • See opportunities and solve problems.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in a People Management or HR Management role.
  • Hands-on experience and willingness to lead the administration of benefits, HRIS systems, on-boarding, off-boarding, creating pay ranges and compensation, and employee relations.
  • Experience building and scaling in a fast-paced and high-growth remote friendly company.
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • You are ambitious, reliable, and resilient with a can-do attitude, always with a suggestion for a solution rather than just explaining a problem!

Benefits

  • 25 days paid days off per year.
  • Genuine flexibility in how you work - because you're an adult, and it's what you do that matters, not what hours you work.
  • Laptop of choice β€”The equivalent of a 13" Macbook pro.
  • A share options scheme - so that Tillit's success is your success.
  • Other accessories: 27" inch monitor, keyboard, mouse for office, and a 50% subsidy towards the purchase of home office equipment.
  • Β£500 annual allowance for learning and training.
  • Β£500 annual allowance β€” to spend on anything that will contribute to your mental or physical health.
