People Business Partner

About the role

The People Business Partner will be a member of the People Business Partnerships Team. You will partner with the People team and their client groups to support organizational talent, drive engagement, and enable the organization to deliver transformational outcomes. We are looking for a People Business Partner with a rich blend of experience across a range of companies at varied stages of growth; someone who knows what great looks like in a scaled organization. 

In the role of People Business Partner, you will report to the Director, Global Business Partnerships.

We are considering applicants for the location of Dallas.

About You

We get excited about candidates, like you, because...

• You have 8+ years as an HR Business Partner or related field in technology or media environments. Prior experience with Production teams a plus. 
• You have a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Communications or other related field or equivalent experience.
• You understand multiple Human Resource subject areas including organizational design, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, talent development, compensation, diversity and inclusion, and federal, state, and local employment laws (global employment law knowledge a bonus).
• You possess the ability to support team members and form relationships at all levels.
• You love to take on hard problems and create order out of uncertainty; you excel in environments where there is a high-degree of ambiguity and things are prone to rapid change.
• You have experience advising, coaching and facilitating.
• You have experience handling confidential and critical information; you exercise discretion and show good judgment, integrity, and trust-building behaviors in all dealings–a critical and required element in this role.
• You operate independently, but prefer to succeed collectively with a team of people who challenge you to do your best work.
