What You'll Do:

The AVP/ People Communications and Program Management is responsible for the communication and day-to-day administration of staff programming intended to drive engagement and retention. This person will be responsible for conceptualizing a strategy and liaising with vendors and internal teams to ensure excellent implementation of programs, developing resources and campaigns to support high usage across the firm, and working closely with our technology team to surface and resolve user issues.

Additionally, this person will support Corporate Communications channels through writing, research, and production of communication vehicles including the AllianceBernstein intranet, email newsletters, and firm-wide Town Halls, beyond the people-related focus.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute communications plans related to AB's Human Resources initiatives, including email messages, intranet articles, PowerPoint decks, and more.
  • Work proactively with vendors and internal technology product owners to ensure excellent implementation of specific employee programs.
  • Develop and implement resources and campaigns to support high employee program usage by managers and staff.
  • Provide user support, monitor programs, and escalate issues to the appropriate internal and external contacts.
  • Execute efficient change management when implementing new programming.
  • Support Corporate Communications channels, events, and initiatives as needed including the AllianceBernstein intranet, email newsletters, and firm-wide Town Halls.

What We're Looking For:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4-5 years of related experience in the communications field
  • Experience managing Human Resources programs, websites, and/or intranets preferred
  • Experience with content management systems, some HTML preferred
  • Experience developing content for an internal audience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to be a flexible, proactive, creative problem-solver and self-starter
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment
  • Experience communicating to a broad employee population
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with coworkers and subject matter experts in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to build relationships both in-person and virtually
