Within AB's People business unit, Corporate Communications is a global team of cross-functional communicators who drive all aspects of internal and external communications. Internally, Corporate Communications leads key initiatives related to firm culture, employee experience and engagement, talent management, and executive messaging. Their external communications expertise includes crisis and reputation management, global media relations, and social media.

What You'll Do:

The People Communications Content Manager will be responsible for drafting, editing, and managing all internal People content for AB's employees. The role reports to the Chief Communications Officer and will work very closely and collaboratively with AB's Chief People Officer, as well as the broader People team and Corporate Communications colleagues. Responsibilities include:

  • Writing global communications related to employee engagement, benefits, wellness, recognition, and talent management
  • Drafting detailed content for the Chief People Officer related to leadership initiatives, the Board of Directors, organizational change, policy, key announcements, and seasonal events of recognition
  • Creating emails, newsletters, talking points, internal articles, and digital signage copy
  • Serving as the voice of People to strengthen employee understanding of firm initiatives, strategy, and goals
  • Drafting key messages to meet business objectives and to launch People initiatives

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for an exceptional writer who is strategic, collaborative, and a self-starter with an eye for detail and an affinity for talent and culture advancement. Specifically, we're looking for:

  • Superb writing skills-short and long form. Writing samples will be requested
  • Superb researching skills to source and generate content
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years related experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
  • Experience developing content for internal audiences and executive suite
  • Demonstrated ability to be a flexible, proactive, creative problem-solver
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based environment
  • Ability to develop communications plans and meet critical deadlines, managing up and across as needed to achieve goals
