Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist providing consultations to the business on topics such as performance management, workplace concerns, etc.
  • Ability to communicate in Italian and English fluently to work with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Demonstrated foundation in employment laws, regulations and labour relations, including experience with employee representative bodies.
  • Experience in HR, people programs, or other large scale people related roles.
  • Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
  • Ability to work within constraints as well as to challenge the status quo.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, teamwork and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver dynamic consultations around a variety of HR topics such as performance enablement, team/manager/leader effectiveness, career development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, navigating transitions.
  • Contribute to deployment of HR programs and processes for Italy via dynamic consultations.
  • Actively seek opportunities to identify, recommend, and advance long-term, scalable and simplified solutions to drive continuous improvements in people processes, asking for input or buy-in from more senior leaders when needed.
  • Identify key business, market and POps stakeholders to build network and contribute to cross-team collaboration.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of Google-wide HR policies, local/market legal and regulatory knowledge, of Google-wide HR policies and understand how to navigate the POps ecosystem in order to effectively service Googlers, managers and leaders.
