ROLE SUMMARY:

The People Coordinator will play a vital part in the employee lifecycle activities including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, HRIS management, recruitment, and compliance. The Coordinator will report to the Manager, People. This is a highly administrative role and will provide direct support to all functions of the People Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage HRIS data entry during the onboarding process and coordinate with necessary departments
  • Coordinate with employees during the offboarding process; process paperwork and HRIS updates; work with IT and Office Coordinator to ensure all necessary deactivations
  • Process employee changes and coordinate with Payroll
  • Create, maintain, and audit employee files ensuring full compliance and organization
  • Monitor required Company and State training (communications, assignments, and tracking)
  • Manage the People Team inbox; assign emails to appropriate team members
  • Assist with maintenance of the Org Chart
  • Act as point of contact for all minor reporting needs
  • Assist with Covid-19 cases (communications, tracking, and compliance)
  • Process I9s for all new hires; ensure compliance per Federal law
  • Assist employees with general HR questions; resolve basic issues; direct employees to appropriate team member when necessary
  • Conduct employment verifications
  • Serve as back-up to the Office Coordinator when needed
  • Occasionally assist Recruiting with administrative tasks

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in administrative support
  • Experience with ADP WorkforceNow
  • Highly computer proficient with Google Workspace experience
  • Ability to work in a changing environment and adapt quickly
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

POSITION TYPE:
This is a full-time hourly position.

SALARY:

$25 - $32/hour

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a hybrid role for our Headquarters in Los Angeles.
