ROLE SUMMARY:
The People Coordinator plays a vital part in the employee lifecycle activities including but not limited to: onboarding, offboarding, HRIS management, benefits and compliance. The People Coordinator reports to the Manager, People and provides direct support to the People Team.Â
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage HRIS data entry during the onboarding process and coordinate with necessary departments
- Process I9s for all new hires
- Coordinate with employees during the offboarding process, process paperwork and HRIS updates, notify IT, and deactivate badges
- Process employee changes and coordinate with payroll
- Manage the People Team email inbox; assign emails to appropriate team members
- Create, maintain, and audit employee files ensuring full complianceÂ
- Assist with maintenance of the Org Chart
- Assist employees with general HR questions and resolve basic issues
- Provide administrative support for benefits, assist with the open enrollment process, and help maintain data in benefit carrier websites
- Assist with tracking the completion status of compliance trainingsÂ
- Conduct employment verifications
- Collaborate with and support the People Team on projects and strategic initiatives
- Occasionally serve as back-up to the Office Coordinator
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or HR Certification is preferred
- 2+ yrs experience in HRÂ
- ADP Workforcenow experience required
- Highly computer proficient with experience in Google Suite preferred
- Ability to work in a changing environment and adapt quickly
- Meticulous attention to detail and communications skillsÂ
POSITION TYPE:
This is a full-time hourly position.Â
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is a hybrid role at our Headquarters in Los Angeles.Â
SALARY:
$25-32/hr
