Position Summary

Crescent’s Site People Coordinator is responsible to support site leadership in their efforts to develop a high-performing team committed to meeting the needs of our customer, our company, and our people through providing the highest quality of support services. These support services will operate as outlined in the Crescent Way- 3 P’s:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Safety

  • Read and understand the Crescent Safety Playbook – Doing it Safe.
  • Monitor OSHA recordables to ensure proper documentation / compliance and root cause analysis
  • Manage Accident Reporting/Investigations and Worker’s Compensation

People

  • Attend monthly talent partner SLA meetings. Follow up on items as requested to ensure services meet the needs of the operation.
  • Conduct weekly floor walk-throughs to ensure compliance with GMPs and People policies.
  • Administer employment verifications, unemployment claims, and orientation for new hires.
  • Administer site recognition programs (RSW, Anniversaries, Birthdays, etc.)

Productivity

  • Effectively partner with operation leaders to manage employee relations.
  • Serve as point of contact for employee matters

Quality

  • Manage the orientation process for all new hires.
  • Administer the leveling up program to ensure alignment, consistency, and fairness within UKG.
  • Oversee and monitor the assessment process.
  • Data Integrity
    • Timely and accurate people data reporting and records management.
    • Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine areas of opportunity.

Customer Value

  • Manage the STAR processes and tools.
  • Understand and become knowledgeable about the concepts and various demands of the customer (know the business)- shared mind-set.
  • Foster Crescent excellence by cultivating and exemplifying People Group Leadership.

Work Environment / Physical Demands
  • Fast paced environment, requiring SPG to adapt to continuous changes in Company, Customer and People needs.
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time at desk in traditional office environment
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:                                                                                                                    

  • 6 months – 1 year of hands-on experience working in Human Resources
  • Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
  • Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technology systems as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in an HR department
  • Natural interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
  • Knowledge of KRONOS is a plus
  • Knowledge of HR federal laws and regulations
  • Strong ability to collaborate and influence a team
