To build and extend SmartBear’s success and growth, were looking for a People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner. In this role you will work closely with senior leadership and their teams to define and execute talent strategies, and have the ability to advance your career at a company that is high-growth, firmly established, and an industry leader.

About the role:

  • Partner and collaborate with business leaders to provide consultative support in the areas of employee engagement, performance management, retention, employee relations, talent development, and compensation
  • Support company-wide P&C related programs including performance management, salary review, employee engagement, talent assessment, and workforce planning while proactively leveraging these programs for the best interests of the organization
  • Work closely with the Learning & Development team to develop programs to support the needs of the organization and support employee development
  • Develop and execute initiatives across the employee journey to drive high employee engagement and foster programs to support the SmartBear culture
  • Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions and programs
  • Recognize, investigate, and resolve employee relations issues in an effective and timely manner
  • Partner with other P&C team members including P&C Operations and Talent Acquisition to develop a strategic, integrated P&C plan

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 4+ years previous experience as HR/People Generalist or HR/People Business Partner
  • 2+ years previous experience resolving employee relations issues
  • 4-6 years professional experience in People & Culture
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
  • HR Certification preferred
