How Youโll have an Impact:
You will be a resource for managers in your region by providing consultation in people-related matters and supporting the growth & development of Coyote leaders through guidance & coaching efforts. You will support the employees in your region by being a resource for career guidance and general HR questions.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as go-to resource for regional managers, provide guidance & problem resolution
- Coach managers through employee relations situations, investigate & escalate as needed to mitigate risk
- Advise managers on performance management & disciplinary action steps
- Engage with managers to identify high potential employees for succession plans
- Facilitate the execution of leadership & high-potential development initiatives
- Initiate relationships with all new hires by maintaining a presence during onboarding
- Meet regularly & proactively with employees to keep a pulse on engagement
- Facilitate internal movement through career path coaching and talent pool development
- Participate in the internal recruiting process when appropriate (leadership roles)
- Support the execution of local recognition initiatives for employees
- Act as the liaison between employees and HR Operations when needed
- Be an effective resource for employees regarding Coyote policies, procedures, and people processes
- Facilitate the separation process, conduct exit interviews when appropriate
- Oversee facilities & events management for local office
Skills/Characteristics/Experience:
- 1-2 Years of experience in HR or related field preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline preferred
- PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Strong understanding of HRIS systems and tools (experience with Workday is a plus)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
