DigitalOcean is looking for a People Operations Analyst to join a small team focused on all employee lifecycle operations including, but not limited to, onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and leave management. You’ll work closely with the team to ensure integrity and accuracy of our data and programs. Reporting to the Manager, People Operations, this person will be responsible for executing aspects of the People Team function at the tactical level, including focusing heavily on benefits administration, immigration, payroll, HRIS and special programs. This role requires a high level of flexibility and attention to detail. The successful candidate will ideally have proven experience managing an HR system (e.g. Workday) and working knowledge of ADP payroll. This role will offer the opportunity to work closely with all sides of the organization and participate in other People Team functions and related projects as needed.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist in benefits administration and management globally, including US open enrollment
  • Take the lead on immigration and own partnership with our external vendor
  • Assist with the collection and submission of payroll-related data to service providers, employee query resolution, statutory filing requirements, payroll approvals and payment confirmations to deliver global payroll and other forms of compensation compliantly, accurately and in a timely manner
  • Accurately maintain the company's systems of record including HRIS, payroll, benefits and external technology solutions as well as internal employee records
  • Assist with the employee life cycle from onboarding to termination and ensure employees are equipped with applicable information and resources
  • Address employee questions quickly and discreetly, and provide satisfactory resolution while balancing advocacy for employees with business priorities
  • Support employees and managers regarding People Team policies, procedures, systems and tools
  • Assist with employee experience initiatives 
  • Assist with programs to celebrate anniversaries and other milestones

What You'll Add to DigitalOcean:

  • 5+ years minimum, of job related experience
  • Prior experience with HR-related systems, preferably Workday and ADP

  • We reward our employees. The base salary range for this position is between $75,000-$95,000 based on relevant years of experience and skills. The salary range for this role is specific to candidates located within the U.S. and will vary for candidates outside the U.S.. Employees may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees including grants of equity upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
