About the role

Mill is looking for a People Operations Coordinator to support the People team in all areas of People Operations including employee lifecycle, recruiting, events, office experience, and more.  It’s the People team’s job to help bring the right staff onboard, ease their transition, and ensure they feel well taken care of at Mill.

A significant portion of the role will include recruiting coordination. While working with recruiters to support candidates throughout their end-to-end interviewing process, you will be responsible for facilitating communication with external and internal candidates, hiring managers, recruiters and various other internal Mill teams. Most importantly, you will have deep curiosity for the company, how it works, which roles we are hiring for and how it all fits together! 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, schedule, confirm, and track all interviews.
  • Attend in-person hiring events and be onsite at the office to coordinate the entire candidate day-of interview experience.
  • Drive and participate in ad hoc process improvement initiatives and other projects such as iterating, designing and implementing templates for candidate interview experience as needed.
  • Responsible for data entry and updating the applicant tracking system and tracking/monitoring information for a high volume of candidates.
  • Coordinate and perform office management tasks such as reviewing and routing all mail, interfacing with the office’s property manager, stocking supplies, and oversight of contract resourcing including janitorial services. 
  • Assist with various people operations processes as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in any People Operations discipline, as an Executive Assistant, or related role.
  • An obsession with attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within a deadline
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems, candidate management systems and other recruiting tools.
  • Ability to be onsite at the company office approximately 4 days per week.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $64k to $94k, which does not include the value of benefits or a potential equity grant. A wide range of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, market conditions, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and business and organizational needs. At Mill, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
