We are looking for major 'value add' candidates that thrive in a high paced 'scale-up' environment and are willing to step up to the challenge and build something truly special in the ecommerce space with us!
You'll be at the forefront of growing Smartrr's team and working with leadership to build a high-performing team who embody our company principles. In this highly-autonomous role, you'll report directly to our Chief Operating Officer to build robust processes around talent acquisition, employee development and company culture. You will be working with Smartrr's leadership team on recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews, performing screening calls and reviewing applications. As our first ever People Operations hire, you will be take ownership of our Human Resources tech stack and Applicant Tracking System. The ideal candidate will combine passion for employee experience, high commitment and organizational skills and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic startup environment.
Requirements
- As our first People hire, your primary focus will be to partner with our leadership team on hiring new talent, including managing job postings, screening applicants and facilitating interview and feedback processes
- You will work across both People Ops and Talent functions to hire, onboard, and create a culture and healthy working environment at Smartrr
- Planning and coordinating onboarding and training for new employees
- Working internally with hiring managers and with external recruiters on hiring, interview scheduling, and coordination
- Manage employee performance and recognition programs, including regularly employee performance reviews and tracking employee milestones
- Develop internal programs to enhance employee engagement, develop skills and further our mission
- Standardize best practices around performance management, learning and development and office experience
