The Team & Role
ZEO Success is Zuora’s People organization, inclusive of our Business Partners, Learning & Organizational Effectiveness, Internal Comms & Engagement, Total Rewards, HRIS, People Operations, Recruiting, Workplace Resource, and Social Impact teams. This role reports to our Vice President, Global Total Rewards, HRIS, and People Operations. You will lead Zuora’s global People Operations team, which is truly the engine of the ZEO Success function. You will continue building our People operations strategy by assessing, implementing, communicating, and administering cutting-edge, scalable, and easy-to-use processes, policies, and programs that support all ZEOs. You will share an innate passion for providing “white glove” employee solutions and support, in addition to being a key enabler to our other ZEO Success and business partners. You’ll be able to flex your project management muscles by leading cross-functional initiatives that require ZEO Success expertise. Your stakeholders will benefit from the masterful execution you provide as a key pillar of what attracts and engages top talent in an organization growing to $1B in revenue.
In this role you’ll get to:
- Evolve the vision and strategy for Zuora’s People Operations team
- Develop and launch best-in-class processes, policies, programs, and tools that facilitate a stellar employee experience, including our global immigration and mobility strategy
- Align with key partners to publish global standard operating procedures that are easy, efficient, and impactful for ZEOs, our colleagues, and our team
- Serve as ZEO Success’ project management leader for cross-functional initiatives
- Create toolkits and automated solutions to cross-functional teams and leaders that standardize and scale our processes
- Keep pace with existing and new compliance requirements, and then maintain or implement all compliance portals, processes, and tools to support Zuora’s adherence to important regulations
- Always look for ways to drive continuous improvement
- Oversee the process for and responses to day-to-day inquiries from employees
- Re-imagine our global employee handbooks and employee onboarding/offboarding processes
Who we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field required
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HR and/or people operations, with at least 3 years leading people
- Demonstrated ability to foster positive relationships at all levels through excellent communication skills, and works effectively with partners across cultures, geographies, and functions in an ever-evolving work environment
- Strong project management capabilities, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, influencing, and flawless execution
- Solution-oriented leader, listener, and partner who develops innovative solutions to critical process challenges
- Demonstrates breadth and depth of HR expertise with a solid grasp of market-prevalent best practices
- Experience in leveraging data and analytics to drive HR initiatives, processes, policies, and programs
