People Operations Generalist
Job Description
How you'll add value:
- Track and maintain employee data using HCM software and compile necessary reports from database.
- Make sure all employee records are filed out correctly and kept confidential, maintains personnel records.
- Ensure compliance with new hire paperwork and terminations.
- Provides support in filing documentation and tracking paperwork.
- Facilitating People Team processes and acting as a liaison between employees, team, vendors and providers
- Assist with new-hire procedures, employee orientation, and creating new employee files.
- Maintains strong customer relationships by handling team member questions and concerns with accuracy, sense of urgency and professionalism.
- Partner with employees and managers to ensure smooth administration of Leave management, onboarding, compensation and equity programs.
- Identify and drive process improvements.
- Be a part of the People Ops Team to set up effective approaches supporting the employee lifecycle of hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and general people operations.
- Act as an administrator for the People Ops Team to ensure company processes are aligned and properly actioned.
- Support payroll activities through state setup, address changes and LOA management
- Performs other job-related duties as required and assigned.Â
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
- 4+ years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist or Benefits/LOA SpecialistÂ
- Knowledgeable in local, state and federal rules and regulations for leave of absence and workers compensation including but not limited ADA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, USERRA, FEHA, FMLA, CFRA, PFL, STD, and LTD.Â
- Excellent computer and technical skills including HRIS functional development, maintenance, troubleshooting and reporting; third party vendor systems and reporting; MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel required.Â
- Detail oriented, with ability to think critically and problem solve using data.Â
- Outstanding customer service and ability to lead crucial conversations.
- Ability to analyze complex benefit plans and information and identify issues.Â
- Exhibit high level of confidentiality.Â
- Clear, effective written and verbal communicationÂ
- Time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks.Â
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.Â
- HRIS experience – ADP experience is a plus.Â
- SaaS company experienceÂ
- Presentation skillsÂ
- Degree in Human Resources or related fieldÂ
- Certifications such as PHR or SPHRÂ

- This position has a salary range of $75-$85K. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
