The Opportunity:

As our People Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every employee in our company has the support and resources they need to excel in their roles.
 
In this role, you will manage and maintain efficient HR processes, with a main focus on the US while also providing support to other People Operations functions globally. Your mission will be to administer employee health and welfare benefits plans, act as a liaison between employees and insurance providers, and provide administrative support to the People Operations function as needed.

Please note that this is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days/week in office required
 
Your Mission:
  • Ensure benefit plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations, and that plan provisions are followed
  • Create and maintain process documentation
  • Ensure timely and courteous resolution of all cases
  • Stay up-to-date with state and federal employment laws and practices and provide recommendations on policies and procedures
  • Assist with worker's compensation filings and complete verifications of employment
  • Administer leaves of absence including tracking leaves, partnering with payroll, and assisting employees in navigating the process
  • Support year-end processes and state level filings
  • Process required documentation through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions, and complete regular reconciliations of benefits statements
  • Perform all end of year benefit compliance testing
  • Conduct first-day onboarding for all U.S. new hires on a bi-weekly basis
  • Complete new hire paperwork, including creating profiles in ADP, completing and verifying I-9 documentation processes, and other new hire files
  • Assist in the termination process, including drafting termination letters and terminating appropriate accounts
  • Collaborate with the Global People Operations team to aid global projects as assigned
  • Handle other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed:
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar HR role
  • Working knowledge of benefits and total rewards programs
  • Comprehension of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
  • Experience with ADP (WorkforceNow experience a strong plus)
  • People-focused mentality with the ability to communicate effectively over all mediums
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the proven ability to meet deadlines
Nice to have:
  • Previous payroll administration experience
  • Multi-state experience is a plus
  • Knowledge about Confluence documentation
  • Completed studies with a focus on human resources
  • Experience working with global teams
