People Operations Manager

A Hybrid working model
Now offices are fully open we have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week. The expectation is that working life at Hogarth will involve working from the office for about 60% of the time for most people. What does a People Operations Manager do at Hogarth?
This is a newly created role, reporting the the Global People Operations Lead, which includes improving and embedding people processes and policies across all business areas consistently, to make Hogarth the best place to work.
You will play a vital role in the People team by being a champion of Global People Ways of Working and by being a super user for our People tech stack. You will be working with our People team, globally, and with HR shared services in ensuring integrity and accuracy of the employee data per predefined SLAs and service catalogue.
You will support the data team to ensure we get the reports we need. You will help to strengthen our reporting measures through dashboards, visualisations and defining key analytic measures and craft narratives behind people data that can be shared, utilised and add value across the business.
You will be HR for HR and support effective employee Lifecyle management of our new People Team colleagues including onboarding, contracts, and offboarding
You will be a champion in applying best practice tools and techniques for delivery of key people related projects within Hogarth, and you will represent Hogarth in defined WPP Group People Projects.
Ensure full compliance and risk management across all People Operations taking relevant local legislation into account. Support the delivery and adoption of People Operations elements such as IR35, GDPR, Right to Work ,and support all global mobility, across the business. Regularly conduct compliance audits and ensure all people data is compliant with data protection and GDPR legislation.
Success for this role will be to deliver on our commitment to exponentially improve managers’ and employees’ experience of People operations, to build elegant and compliant processes that are required in the worlds largest content experience company, and to bring consistency and harmonization to operations and benefits where necessary or beneficial.
Requirements
You will have previous experience of evaluating and defining process flows, implementing new ways of working and leading people technology
- Be able to effectively communicate and engage the wider business in newly-developed ways of working
- Existing knowledge of talent acquisition technologies and wider HR tech stacks is preferred but not essential
- Prior experience of reviewing and updating HR processes
- Proven experience of project management , preferably in multijurisdictional environment
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Problem solver, ability to navigate through ambiguity
- Team player, who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues but equally able to work on your own initiative
