About
The People Operations Partner is a proactive and forward-thinking professional dedicated to fostering a positive work culture and driving efficiencies while maintaining a fun environment. As the People Operations Partner, you will collaborate with the People Operations team to deliver valuable services to management and employees within the Supply Chain and Customer Experience business units. You will innovate HR programs such as employee recognition and new hire onboarding. This role requires occasional travel to our Bethesda, MD headquarters. We welcome applications from East Coast candidates who are local/on-site, hybrid, or remote.
Responsibilities

  • Cultivate positive work relationships, boost morale, and enhance productivity and retention through engagement with management and employees
  • Offer day-to-day performance management guidance to management, including coaching, counseling, and career development
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Address and resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Stay updated on legal requirements to minimize risks and ensure regulatory compliance, collaborating with legal counsel when necessary
  • Manage new hires, promotions, transfers, and international employee onboarding and HR matters
  • Contribute to business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning
  • Identify training and coaching needs, evaluate training programs, and ensure training objectives are met
  • Educate employees on benefit offerings and promote utilization of available tools and resources
  • Coordinate annual salary increases and ensure pay equity within the organization and market
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding, orientation, and training initiatives
  • Provide general support to operational initiatives within the team

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required; SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience
  • Ability to exercise judgment and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with ADP WorkforceNow is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively, both independently and collaboratively
