Become a People Operations Specialist for Bloomreach!

In the People Operations team, we take care of Bloomreachers from the moment they accept the job offer. Together with the other People team units (1. Recruitment & Employer Branding, 2. Workplace Experience Operations, 3. People Development, 4. Comp & Ben, and 5. People Partners), we form the People team reporting directly to the Chief People Officer.

We are in charge of the Employee lifecycle administration - onboarding, offboarding, changes, and payroll operations. We are growing and right now we find ourselves in 8+ countries across 3 continents and we are also looking to expand our People Operations team. Your responsibility will lie with operations related to ~300 colleagues located in 28 different states in the United States.

Your starting salary will be $80,000 - $90,000, along with stock options and other benefits. Working in our Charlotte office or from home full-time, you’ll become a part of the People Operations Team.

Your job will be:

  • Ensure HR administration complies with all legal requirements and processed effectively (i.e. benefit and payroll enrollments, mid-year changes, salary amendments, promotions, relocations, parental leaves, absences)
  • Ensure fast & efficient on/offboarding and changes in the employee lifecycle
  • Actively cooperate on People departmental projects (we are mostly unifying and automating our processes across the globe these days)
  • Communication with employees daily, providing information to answer their questions regarding onboarding, offboarding, benefits, 401k, mid-year changes, leaves of absence, etc.
  • Supporting proper information so finance can manage payroll processing for your assigned regions
  • Collaboration with Managers, Office Managers & Finance, IT and legal teams
  • Administration of the internal HR database - we run on BambooHR

Your success story will be:

  • In 30 days, you will shadow your team members while running the regular employee operations and start to run them by yourself with their help
  • In 60 days, you will own & run these operations and you will be encouraged to suggest how to optimize and improve them
  • In 90 days, in addition to the regular operations, you will be working on your new performance goals

You have the following experience and qualities:

Professional experience

  • 2+ years of experience in HR processes in the United States (mostly admin, US benefits, onboarding & offboarding)
  • 1+ years experience in customer service (internal or external)
  • Previous experience supporting immigration strongly preferred

  • Proactivity to solve problems and look for solutions
  • Ownership of tasks/projects 
  • Independence and self-organization
  • Punctuality with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills (Proficient English to communicate with employees daily).

Compensation:

  • Restricted Stock Units or Stock Options are granted depending on a team member’s role, seniority, and location.*
