Founded in 2018 by a group of engineers from Stanford, Cisco Meraki, and Samsara, Spot AI was created to deliver on the mission of visually indexing the physical world and empowering people at work with video. Now we’re a group of almost 100 (and counting!) Spotans who support hundreds of customers like Cheeseman, Mixt and Northland Cold Storage, and thousands of daily users.
In 2021, Spot AI scaled bookings 10x and is continuing to grow aggressively. Who You Are:You are a master multi-tasker with an incredible attention to detail. You enjoy solving problems quickly while working with key stakeholders and customers to meet evolving business needs. You are eager to participate in cultivating a strong company culture through delivery of a combination of administrative and tactical tasks while keeping a business-focused mindset. You enjoy owning tasks and projects, and can also think strategically about how to deliver process improvement. You have the ability to work from the Spot.ai office in Lehi, Utah so that you can be face to face with a large part of your customer group. And, you have a desire to learn and grow professionally, and likely have an eye on developing a career in people operations and human resources. Â
What Excites You:- Ownership of administrative support tasks that include maintaining inventory of various office necessities, facilities management, event planning and catering, and executive team support
- Assist in people and talent processes including interview scheduling and onsite candidate coordination new hire onboarding, and benefits administration
- Participating in cultivating strong company culture through initiatives like culture committee, philanthropy, and employee engagement events
- The opportunity to grow and scale with a thriving company, particularly in the area of human resources
- Superior organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy: you will be participating in multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written: you will communicate with all levels of the organization, including to the C-Suite
- A sense of ownership: you will be empowered to make decisions and act quickly
- A flexible, “get it done” mentality: things move fast and we will sometimes work on short timelines with changing parameters
- A high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity: you will be exposed to data and information (like compensation information and social security numbers) that will require strict confidentiality measures
- At least 2 years of progressive work experience that includes administrative experience in a professional setting: a foundational knowledge of business operations will help you be most successful
- A strong desire to learn and grow: as the company scales, so can your responsibilities
- An interest in human resources and people operations: you will have the opportunity to learn across broad areas of the profession
- Competitive compensation - this role has a target base salary of $55,000 per year
