Description:

The remote People Operations Business Partner will provide full-time People Ops consulting and services to the Managers and Employees across all departments and functions in the US. Reporting directly to the VP of People Operations, this person will be responsible for overseeing, implementing, and measuring the following core people ops functions and domains: employee relations (investigations, conflicts, coaching plans, terminations), performance management and review cycle, career and succession planning & development, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, and employee engagement. They will partner closely with recruitment to provide support in developing diverse networks and community outreach programs to attract and retain diverse technical talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements employee relations processes (coaching plans, termination, etc.) 
  • Manages performance review process and cycle and partners with VP of People Ops and VP of Finance on bonus and salary increases. 
  • Develops processes and systems to remove bias from performance management 
  • Develops and implements a succession and career planning process to ensure the organization is identifying, developing, and retaining high-potential talent 
  • Manage Professional Development Allowance and certification policies, collaborating with leadership on certification needs
  • Organizes and manages the DEI program in collaboration with leadership and develops annual DEI goals 
  • Oversees the employee engagement platform and follows up on areas of improvement based on the feedback; provides a report to all leaders quarterly 
  • Partners with the recruitment team to identify diverse networks within the community to acquire diverse technical talent  
  • Develops and oversees internship program to identify and develop emerging talent 
  • Be an ambassador of company core values and drive initiatives to build upon and improve culture constantly

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of human resource generalist or HR business partner experience 
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Experience in organizational change management and implementing organizational development programs 
  • Experience in developing DEI initiatives and developing early career programs 
  • Possess strong feedback skills and be willing to have difficult and uncomfortable conversations. Tackle difficult issues with clarity, empathy, and resolve
  • Experience working in a technology company, engineering function, or services company is a plus. 
  • Have an aptitude for coaching, mentoring, and building rapport across teams
  • Influential communication skills - understands how to adapt the message to the audience and gain buy-in. 
  • Business acumen understands how the company makes money and how the people enable the company to perform. 
  • Analytical, uses data to drive decision making
