Meet Your Future NeighborsWe’re looking for an experienced People Programs Manager with strong project management skills to collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement Nextdoor’s People programs. You’ll shape and influence the employee experience which is centered on the growth of our employees.
The Impact You’ll MakeReporting to the Head of People Business Partners, you’ll partner closely with the Talent Management & Development, People Operations, and Compensation teams. You’ll work across a variety of programs including calibrations, promotions, compensation, performance feedback, recognition programs, engagement surveys, and learning initiatives.
 Your responsibilities will include:Â
- Develop and execute People programs and initiatives that align with the company's strategy and employee value proposition
- Oversee the full lifecycle of People programs, including planning, design, implementation, tracking, and evaluation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify People program needs and define program goals and objectives
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to ensure People programs are innovative and impactful
- Provide guidance and support to People Business Partners and Managers on program initiatives and implementation
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of People programs through data analysis and feedback, making recommendations for improvements as necessary
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys and recognition programs, to promote a positive and inclusive work culture focused on the growth of employees
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating new ideas and strategies into People programs
- Collaborate with the People Learning and Growth team to ensure training programs align with the program initiatives. Provide logistical support (i.e. enrolling and communicating with participants) for the workshops. Basic systems support with LMS, LinkedIn Learning
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and industry partners to support People program objectives
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in People program management, preferably in a fast-paced and high-growth organization
- In-depth knowledge of People programs best practices
- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful People programs and initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Proficiency in People software and systems Â
Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package. Â
The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $91,000 - $116,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.
We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date. Â
Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
