People Solutions Learning and Development Team Lead
Job Description
The People Solutions Technical Learning & Development Team Lead is responsible for developing and executing technical learning and development initiatives across multiple Series. The Team Lead collaborates with key stakeholders to identify needs, develop programs, and promote learning resources to bolster the technical proficiency and professional growth of People Solutions associates.
Position Responsibilities
Program Development
• Design, develop, and deliver technical learning and development programs via a variety of delivery methods, including instructor-led training, e-learning, and blended learning.
• Design engaging and interactive content, including e-learning modules, job aids, and activity completion checklists to enhance the learning experience.
• Ensure programs align with business objectives and comply with industry regulations and best practices.
Needs Analysis
• Collaborate with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify technical skill gaps across the organization.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments and develop training strategies and programs to address identified gaps.
Delivery and Evaluation
• Deliver technical learning and development sessions to associates, utilizing effective L&D techniques and tools.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
• Continuously improve content and delivery methods based on learner feedback and industry trends.
Technical Knowledge Management
• Establish and maintain a centralized repository of technical knowledge resources, including documentation, reference materials, and online resources.
• Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration among associates by facilitating communities of practice and other learning forums.
Vendor Management
• Collaborate with external training vendors and consultants to leverage their expertise and resources as needed.
• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure cost-effective and high-quality solutions.
Team Leadership
• Lead a team of technical talent development consultants by providing guidance, support, and direction.
• Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
Additional Responsibilities
• Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be willing to travel 25% of the time
Position Qualifications / Desired Skills & Attributes
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., instructional design, human resources, business administration) or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in human capital, people solutions, or employee benefits consulting.
• Strong technical aptitude in field of expertise or ability to absorb technical content and package it in a constructive and educational way.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and learning methodologies.
• Proficiency in developing and delivering technical training programs using various delivery methods.
• Experience leading and managing a team of L&D professionals.
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other online learning tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to adapt to changing business needs and manage multiple priorities effectively.
